At least you have pirated options. Here, hard to find. Laughing

Fatum SG

because they are more advance, all using P2P liao ? .... Twisted Evil

Fatum SG

I discovered a way of accessing P2P files residing on individuals' systems during the course of researching for a paper ..... you can copy files directly from chaps using P2P applications without them even knowing it ..... (hint: it uses google to find vulnerable systems .... )

*evil cackle ...... Twisted Evil

You could try warez sites. There are software out there who can crack copy protected CDs.

But you didn't hear it from me. Twisted Evil

anyone likes turtle soup ? ........

there's one at chinatown hawker centre ... but I haven't been there for a long long time .. I wonder if it's still there ..... Razz

the Bear SG

some hawkers say that being a turtle soup hawker is bad karma...

they need a "special knife" to butcher the turtle... and that those who prepare the stuff, somehow, will not lead happy lives..

got that from one of the hawkers of Alexandra Village.. there was a dude there who sold damned good turtle soup.. but he committed suicide.. Neutral

the Bear SG

i'm off to church.. back in the evening Wink

Fatum SG

but is it okay to eat them then ? ... Neutral

they are nice to eat ... I like the soft, gelatinous part at the sides of the shell .... Confused

av98m SG

I wanted to make copies of some of my expensive japanese pressed CDs to play in the office PC. Mad

av98m SG

Shocked Surprised

sbst275 SG

Looking at some Zen models

Me very outdated le Embarassed Still use the transistor radio outside Laughing

Fatum SG

the japanese are the most advanced in protecting their CDs .... remember the recent hoohaa about sony encrypting a bug into their CDs ? ... Laughing

that being said ... encryption now relies on CD burners recognizing the protocol ..... so all you have to do, is to get one of those cheap, made-in-china brands, and you're home free ... Twisted Evil ....

but once blue-ray technology matures though ... freely duplicating CDs will be a thing of the past ... Laughing
